I was attending a Saturday evening mass at St.Therese Church,Mooresville and as usual my mind was full of thoughts. Church was full of people belonging to different walks of life,different ages,colors,countries etc. It was such a joy to watch this. However, when I stood up to get Holy Communion and Precious Blood I noticed a old couple in front of me. They were in their 70's or more but the support they were for each other was immeasurable. Old Lady was hardly able to walk but was eager to get communion. Her husband who was also old but looked healthier than her was holding her hand and leading her the way towards the priest. He helped her take the communion although he didn't take it himself (may be he wasn't baptized). But what amazed me was the love and affection he showed on his wife. After a silent prayer for them I walked out of the Church feeling so blessed thinking that patience towards your love still exists and is still going strong in the world. Love triumphs all.
